Professional Development Opportunities

CaCCCHE is a network of student affairs/life/services graduate, career staff, faculty, and friends that affirms the efforts of identity-conscious centers and programs throughout and beyond California. We gather as CaCCCHE members and guests twice during the fiscal year at our Fall Drive/Virtual-In and Summer Conference. CaCCCHE also offers the late Winter Student-Scholar Conference to our undergraduate employees, interns, and volunteers. Lastly, we invite our members and guests to CaCCCHE coordinated Webinars, Roundtables, and Networking Socials throughout the fiscal year.

Drive-In Conference

Our CaCCCHE Regional Drive-In Conference is a one-day professional development and networking opportunity hosted in collaboration with a member institution. The Drive-In Conference generally features a keynote speaker, invited presenters/panelists, concurrent sessions, roundtable discussions, campus tours, networking socials, and more. Drive-In Conference Registration is free to persons with an active CaCCCHE membership.

Summer Conference

Our Annual CaCCCHE Summer Conference (SumCon) is a multi-day experience hosted in collaboration with a member institution. During the pandemic, we continued to host this annual experience in a virtual setting. As campuses reopen, we can now sponsor this annual SumCon in an in-person or hybrid setting, featuring pre-conference workshops, numerous keynote speakers, concurrent sessions presented by members and guests, roundtable discussions, award recognition, networking socials, and more. SumCon Registration is discounted for persons with an active CaCCCHE membership.

Student Scholars Conference

Our CaCCCHE Student Scholar Conference is a professional development opportunity geared toward undergraduate students interested in the field of student affairs and cultural center or social justice work. Our annual student scholar conference is hosted in collaboration with a member institution and features keynote speakers, workshops, and opportunities for student leaders to connect with other across various institutions.
